Brother Knights

Church Drive

This weekend we held a recruitment drive ay St. Mary’s.  Thank you to brothers who helped including Pat Peterson, Joe Viertel, Terry Thurner and Dan Betka.  We developed a few leads which I will pursue.

The next step will be an information meeting to be held on Thursday May 31 at 6:30 P at the Nativity House.

If we are able to develop Form 100 membership documents from thus meeting, we will host a first degree on Thursday June 7 at 6:30 PM.

I would like to encourage members of our combined councils to show up and participate in these 2 important meetings.

 

Saint Mary’s school

  The school has asked us to participate in a ceremony recognizing KC Free Throw participants and presenting the 6th grade bibles. Again, I would like at least 3-4 of my brother Knights to help me at the ceremony to be held May 29 (Tuesday) at 9AM.  

 

  Participation

In June we will be selecting a new slate of officers and I ask that you continue your support. If there are issues, projects that you would like to see your KC get involved in and that you will support please let us know.

    I am the Faithful Navigator in Venice Florida. I am visiting my Son and Daughter-in-law here in Janesville. My wife and I will be here until June. I tried to go to the 5:30 Mass tonight(Apr 1st), but it seems that there is none. It does appear on St. Mary’ Web site. I will go to the 8:30 on Sunday. I would like to go to a council meeting, if that is alright with you. Please let me know the time and place.

      Dear Brother Counes,

      My name is Edward, and serve as the Council Warden and webmaster for 10363. Our Grand Knight and myself have been attending the 8:30 a.m. Sunday mass. St. Mary’s (a.k.a. Nativity of Mary) has services n Saturday at 4:30 p.m., and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

      I will call Greg, our Grand Knight, and see about meeting with you a the church vestibule (back entrance of church). In case, we don’t connect! Greg may be reached at mackraft@aol.com.
